Biography

Dr. Robert Culp is an Associate Professor of Economics at Dalton State. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Tennessee and a M.S. in economics from Texas A&M. He previously held positions at Penn State-Lehigh Valley and at Lehigh University in the Goodman Center for Real Estate Studies. He is a regular reviewer for Ecological Economics, has eight publications in peer-reviewed journals in economics and real estate economics.  His primary areas of research are in real estate economics, environmental economics, and public policy.

Achievements

In 2012, Dr. Culp received the best paper award from the Pacific Rim Real Estate Society for his co-authored paper “A Proposed Mortgage to Help Avoid Another Housing Bubble”
